My Teaser (Since I have a hard time finding only 2 sentences, I figured I do a couple paragraphs) ;-)

I have no idea what he's talking about anymore, because my brain has turned to soup. I'm all glowing, glittering sensation as his green gaze sweeps me from toes to crown. His brows are slightly gathered, his mouth still tight. Firelight illuminated his face, so I can see the exact moment he realizes what I've been doing. His torso stiffens as his hands, pressed against the mattress, curl into big fists. He makes a low, approving sound and speaks in a voice that sounds like molten lava.
 "That's so sexy."
 I look down at my hand, still tangled in my gown. "It is?" I search his face.
"Oh yeah. Hell yeah."

I was asked by the lovely Jordin Williams to help promote her new book release Amazingly Broken. I was honored and of course I agreed. I have an excerpt and a giveaway here today to share and I'm excited.  Here is some info about the book:

He stepped back pushing my hand away. I leaned against the wall, watching him standing before me, wondering what he was doing. Then he dropped to his knees in front of me. Suddenly, he grabbed my leg and pulled it up over his shoulder. He brought his mouth right to my aching core, something that I never had done to me before.              Crying out, I slammed the palms of my hands against the wall. It felt incredible, and as he sucked, swirled and stroked the most sensitive part of me, I made noises that I didn’t know were possible.              Just as I was groaning his name, rocking my hips against him, he separated from me. Stumbling back a step, he brought his mouth back up to mine and shoved his tongue inside. I tangled my fingers in his hair, pulling him flush to my body. I needed him so bad. Groaning, I grabbed his throbbing mass and tried leading him to where I needed him.               “I want you inside me,” I breathed into his ear, wrapping my leg around him and pulling myself against his hand.               He kissed down my neck, down my collar bone, and down to my breasts again. I swiveled against his hips, desperate for more. I was nearly ready to climax from the anticipation alone. He put one hand on each side of my ass and pulled me up. I wrapped the other leg around his waist as he lowered me down, lifting me slightly, lowering me again. Closing his eyes, he sucked in a quick breath through his teeth and dropped his head back His biceps pulsed against my arms as he supported my entire weight. The water pooled at our feet, and the steam filled the room.              “Oh my god, Elana. Oh my…”

Why did I pick this up? Honestly I didn't pick it up myself. I went to a book signing in LA and Rebecca Donovan was there. I saw her book on her table and read the back blurb and thought to myself, "That sounds like a badass book!" So I picked it up, had her sign it and bought the sucker.  What did I think? Um.....wow. Where do I even start?  I'll admit that I was a little wary once I started the book because I thought it would make me cry. It didn't make me cry but it took my breath away. So many emotions ran through me as I kept reading. I was enraptured by Emma's story. Emma has a pretty hard life at home and does her best to bear through it. I have to hand it to her, because what she takes, most people wouldn't be able to handle. She's counting down the days until she can leave and be free. To breathe. I felt her pain and heartbreak. It was practically dripping from the pages. I couldn't look away.  Evan is such a great character. I loved him from the start and he will be a favorite character for me for a while. He takes everything in stride and is honest. You don't find too many honest guys out there. Not to mention what a little hottie he is. Ha! Emma and Evan's love story is timid at first and blossoms into this all-encompassing passion that overtakes them. I think it also takes them by surprise as well. It was really fantastic to read through the book. I think that the best part about this book is that it is brutally honest. When you read about what Emma goes through, you think to yourself, "Why doesn't she fight back? Or leave? I would." But when you truly think about if you were in that certain situation, would you truly be able to? I was thinking that to myself as I read. I honestly don't know what I would do in that situation. No one really does.  Rebecca Donovan did an amazing job with this book. I cannot wait to read the next one in this series. This book will be in my brain for quite a while. As well as my heart.  I highly suggest you pick up a copy soon and start to read! This is one that you do NOT want to pass this one up.

What did I think?
Oh my, where do I even start? I don't even have the words to write to construe how I feel about this book. Not only this book but the author as well. But we'll get to Jenn in a bit.

I first fell in love with GYP gang last year when I was given Shark Bait to read and review by Jenn herself. The writing was so unlike anything I've ever read before and I was enthralled.

This book is no exception. Jenn Cooksey seriously has a way with words and a talent for story telling that is out of this world. In TOFITS, we get a glimpse into other people's POV. But only the girls. Which I loved. Everything in this book is so down to earth and REAL. You don't get any more REAL than what happens in this installment.

Camie and Tristan have to be two of my most favorite characters ever. Their chemistry is spot on and they are totally perfect. I seriously wish I had them as friends while I was in high school. Shoot, I want ALL of their friends as my own NOW. Oh the fun we would have....*sigh*

Without ruining anything in this book, I can safely say that every emotion you have will be put to the test while reading this piece of art. It's not just a book. It's a work of art in my eyes. Nobody writes with this type of honesty and emotion nowadays and I commend Jenn on being so awesome and different with her technique. There were laugh out loud moments, pump your fist moments, bittersweet moments and a heartbreaking one.

I can't get to spoilery because I don't want to ruin it for anyone else. I seriously hope that you pick up a copy to read today because you are seriously missing out if you don't grab your copy today.

Now....as for my earlier statement about Jenn...

I had the distinct pleasure of actually meeting Jenn face to face last year before my life when completely crazy. She has not only become one of my favorite people but one of my dearest friends. She has a zest for life that I can only dream of having and more talent for writing in her little finger than I do with my whole body. I treasure her friendship very much and am so very damn proud of her for how far she has come in the author world. I look forward to seeing her again in the future and I enjoy being along for the ride on her way up to #1. <3

I'm only going to say one more thing and that is, if you've read Shark Bait and The Other Fish In The Sea, wait til the next installment comes out. It will blow your socks off. Completely. I'm not lying when I say that Jenn has talent with story telling. She truly is talented. But every book she writes will be completely worth the wait and then some.

What did I think?

I said before that I am a huge fan of books with musicians in them. I don't know what it is about musicians but damn....they do something for me everytime. So I was really excited to be a part of this Release Day since the book involved a musician.

I really enjoyed this book. Although I will say that I didn't know it was part of a series when I signed up, but it could be read as a stand alone. Needless to say, I did purchase the rest of the books for me to read anyways. ;-)

I will start with Samantha. I liked her although I found her frustrating at times. I understood where she was coming from in some sense but she's pretty damn stubborn and that comes across clear as day. I liked how she stood up for herself and didn't take any crap from anyone. I love a strong female character lead. As all good characters do, she has some good qualities and bad ones but she's still an awesome person. I really enjoyed her spirit.

Now on with Leo Nash....Sa-woon. :-) No, really....The picture of him on the cover does NOT do him justice with the imagination. He was the total package in the book. He did it for me. He had a troubled past which was hard to hear about when the time came but he is one hell of a good man. Plus he has tattoos....that's a major plus in my book. He was really sweet and wouldn't give up on Sam no matter how much she pushed him away. I really liked him.

As for the story, I thought it was really adorable and sweet. I did get confused as to who was who but that's because, like I said, I read this out of order. But the whole meaning behind the story and the love that was there shone through. No matter if it was the family that was sticking up for family or the love between Leo and Sam. 

Overall I thought this was a cute fun read that I'll be happy to get back to anytime. The next time of course I will read it in order as to not confuse myself. Kristen Proby did a wonderful job with it and I look forward to the next in the series.

What did I think?
I'm already a fan of Tiffany King's books. She has a beautiful way of writing and she writes stories that are so full of emotion.

This one is no different. I went into this book expecting to find a cute love story with a happy ending. What I didn't expect was to read this in one sitting and cry. LOL Tiffany does that to a person.

Don't get me wrong, this is a cute love story. But there is plenty of heartache and angst added to the mix. That's what I love about Tiffany's books. Her stories have depth and meaning to them.

I'll start off by saying I adored Ash and Nathan to the core. Ash is such a strong girl and yet very vulnerable. I loved the way that King kept you in the dark the whole time trying to figure out what she was really running from. Ash was such an adorable person and I would have loved to meet her in person.

Now, Nathan. Oh my where do I start? Nathan is the perfect man to have. Hot, deep voice and so incredibly comforting. I wanted to bottle him up and take him home. Seriously. Every girl needs a man like him.

As I mentioned before, I read this in a single sitting. Yes, it was an easy read but that's not why I read it in one sitting. This book had me addicted to it. I could not stop. I didn't want to stop. The book was engaging and written beautifully.
