{Blog Tour & Giveaway} Meant For Her by Raine Thomas

Goodreads Description:
Photographer Sierra Stratton views the world through a lens all her own. She has an uncanny sense about people, something that often causes her trouble. When she meets the sexy and brooding Evan Dorsey, her intuition tells her he’s suffering, and she wants to be the one to help him.
Evan isn’t open to help from anyone, however. His focus is on his Major League career and making himself as marketable as possible for his upcoming free agency. He plans to ride out the season in Atlanta and then sign with another team, away from the painful memories that haunt him.
Someone’s eager to send him on his way, too. Between anonymous threats and equipment sabotage, it’s clear he’s earned himself an enemy along the way. To him, it’s one more sign that he’s right to move on.
But Sierra threatens his conviction. Her contagious smile proves hard to resist, as does her kiss. She tempts him in ways he never anticipated, making him question his plans for the first time. If he’s not careful, she might just convince him that he’s meant for her.

Why did I pick this?
First of all, I just have to say that I didn't actually pick this. Raine actually picked me! I read her other book For Everly and reviewed it HERE. I thought that book was adorable so Raine offered me to be on this fabulous blog tour. Of course I accepted. I love Raine and I love this series. So, in a way, the book chose me for once. ;-)

What did I think?
Adorable. Warm. Lovely. Heart-touching. I thought that this book was a very sweet and heart warming book. Raine has a wonderful way with words and this book was really cute.
I'll start off with the characters...like I always do.
You first really get introduced to Evan. At first, you feel his horrible pain. You're not sure what his pain is caused from because he locks it up so deep but you know he has a big portion of it. That comes out across the page right away. As for looks, yeah....he's a hottie. Plus he's an Aussie?! Hel-lo...who doesn't like an Australian accent? C'mon... lol. Overall...he really is a deep character and I liked seeing him become a better person throughout the book.
Now, for Sierra, I liked how she was wise beyond her years. She sees things normal people don't really catch. Instead of seeing the outside when she first meets people, she sees the deeper side. I truly liked that about her. I will say that I did agree with her friends....she's too nice. I did want to shake her and say, "Stand up for yourself!!" But I did understand where she was coming from. She was such a sweet and caring character.
The overall story was very warm. I really enjoyed reading it. It was easy and flowed very nicely. My heart broke for Evan though. Time and time again. I loved him so much though. I liked that Cole and Everly made an appearance too. So very cute.

About UNDONE:

The best plans come undone. The best angels do, too.
Gabrielle, the Angel of Karma, chose to live in a human body on Earth in hopes of learning what she needed to know to do her job better. She had no idea what she would discover, and she certainly didn’t expect things to go so wrong.
But that was then.
Now, she knows that Ramai and the Fallen have a much stronger hold on humanity than she first believed; that the Book of Barabbadon not only still exists but is now in the hands of the enemy; that demons are becoming more powerful; and that her new love, Lucas, has a terrifying path ahead of him—a path that could make him her worst enemy.
Now, she has to fight through more obstacles than she had before, and she has to do it while watching the clock—constantly reminding her, with each revolution around its face, that time is running out to make things right, to turn the tide toward Light in the Great War.
Gabrielle’s original quest has become more perilous. It’s not just about understanding what motivates humans anymore, she also has to figure out how to keep everything and everyone she loves from coming to an end. Soon.

{Blog Tour} Sentinel by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Pure by Jennifer L. Armentrout
Goodreads Description:
There is need. And then there is Fate...
Being destined to become some kind of supernatural electrical outlet isn't exactly awesome--especially when Alexandria's "other half" is everywhere she goes. Seth's in her training room, outside her classes, and keeps showing up in her bedroom--so not cool. Their connection does have some benefits, like staving off her nightmares of the tragic showdown with her mother, but it has no effect on what Alex feels for the forbidden, pure-blooded Aiden. Or what he will do--and sacrifice--for her.
When daimons infiltrate the Covenants and attack students, the gods send furies--lesser gods determined to eradicate any threat to the Covenants and to the gods, and that includes the Apollyon... and Alex. And if that and hordes of aether-sucking monsters didn't blow bad enough, a mysterious threat seems willing to do anything to neutralize Seth, even if that means forcing Alex into servitude... or killing her.
When the gods are involved, some decisions can never, ever be undone.

My Review:

Why did I pick this?
I love this series. Plain and simple. It's become one of my utmost favorites. I'm lucky (so very lucky) to have a best friend  who is also a blogger that happened to have an ARC of this book. She made one of my dreams come true by sending this to me to read. The day after I received it, I read it......in one sitting. So thank you to my one of my best blogger friend Andrea at The Bookish Babe for loaning it to me. It was so awesome of you to do that. :-) You complete me.
What did I think?
I devoured this book. Seriously. I loved Alex when I first got introduced to her in Daimon and she's wriggled her way into my heart throughout the entire series.
This book picks up right where it left of in Half-Blood and does not stop. Since this book hasn't technically been released yet, I'll try to keep the spoilers to myself ;-)
Now, I'm not sure if you're Team Aiden or Team Seth but you will definately not be disappointed for either. There is plenty of both to keep you satisfied. I, personally, am a Team Aiden kind of gal. What can I say? I'm a sucker for those gray, gray eyes. But after reading this I'm in a tough spot because Seth really does come through in this book. Which is really nice.
Prepare yourself for some action, romance, and yes heartbreak. This was one emotional ride for me. My heart felt so constrcited throughout the entire book. I was sitting on the edge of my seat (or on my bed as it were since I read most of it in bed) the whole time. No joke, I stayed up until 3:40 am finishing it. Yes, I had to work the next day at 8. But is was so worth it.
Everything that you read in Half-Blood is maximized in Pure. Everything is.....MORE. MORE action, MORE suspense, MORE romance, and MORE heartbreak. Deity is seriously going to rock my face off. Jennifer did such an amazing job for this book. She has a fantastic way with words that make you feel. I absolutely adore books that do that to you. No matter if they make you cry or squeel.....I just love to be able to feel it all. Jennifer does that. In spades.
Favorite Quotes: (non-spoilery ones ;-) )
I shot Aiden a defiant look. "Let's go. Come on, Seth.Let's go continue our Lovers' quarrel." Pushing off the wall, Seth arched a brow. "Yes, my love, that sounds absolutely fantastic. Don't forget to grab a dagger so you can poke my eyeball out."
He smiled. "I know I do. I see it quite often. I just prefer your bed. It smells better." I made a face. "It smells better? What does yours smell like? Regrets and bad taste?"

{Release Day Launch, Excerpt, & Giveaway} GREED by Fisher Amelie

Fisher Amelie's GREED is being released TODAY and we are so excited to join in the release day launch for it. GREED is a mature young adult/new adult contemporary novel and is the second book in The Seven Deadly Series. Check out what we have for you today and then enter to win in the blog tour giveaway! You could win a signed copy of VAIN, Book 1 in the series, or a Kindle Fire!

ABOUT GREED (Book 2 in the Seven Deadly Series):

Gather ‘round, love, because I want you. I want what you have, I want what you don’t have, I want more of what I already have. I want. But if you so much as ask for something in return, go ahead and walk away. Know if you want to play in my world, it’s every man for themselves and the weak become mine. Leeches will be obliterated because I make it my job to destroy them. I protect what’s mine and I take what’s yours...because that’s what I do. I want.

My story will not endear me to you and, frankly, I could care less if it does because I’m in this for the money and nothing else. There’s nothing redeeming about me. I’m a corrupt, money hungry, immoral asshole from Los Angeles. I’m every man’s worst nightmare and every girl’s fantasy.

I’m Spencer Blackwell...And this is the story about how I went from the world’s most coveted guy to the guy no one wanted around and why I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world.

Excerpt:

PrologueGreed is a strange, strange sin.All you want to do is acquire. Acquire money, acquire material, acquire time, acquire energy, acquire attention. The running mantra is “I want, I want, I want” but that quickly turns to “I need, I need, I need.”
Suddenly there just isn’t enough time for friends, for family, for anyone. Your goal is to acquire and to make sure what you acquire stays acquired. Your life depends on it. You don’t see truth because the truth is shadowed by enormous homes, incredibly fast cars, in lavish spending. Your life no longer belongs to you, but you are blind to it all because those around you are seeking the same.So you shuffle along at an impossible rate, and you pass the real world around you.But what you’ll come to realize, altogether too late, is that it’s never enough. It’s simply never enough.Chapter One“It’s confirmed. Peter Knight of Evergreen won’t approve the acquisition. You know what to do,” my snake of a father told me, not two steps into his front door.“I just got off a seven-hour flight. You can’t let me settle in? Possibly say hello?”He stood, watching me, a slight tick in his square jaw. He tucked his hands into his Italian silk pants. His six-foot frame followed the steps up to the foyer and stopped a few inches away from my own. We were face to face. Although I fell an inch shorter, he no longer intimidated me. I knew if I had to, I could kick his ass.“Hello, Spencer,” he said, a serpent’s smile spread wide across his mouth before falling flat. “Get to work. I don’t pay you to sit around. I don’t care if it is your Christmas break.”
We stayed where we were, each waiting on the other to back down. The tension was palpable. In the end, his face relaxed and he began to chuckle, stepping aside and making way for me. I picked up my bags and headed for my room, giving myself plenty of space to pass him without touching him.
When I got to the bottom of the stairs, I changed my mind and threw my bags on the second to last step, intending to pick them up later. I stretched my muscles, loving the feel of my back popping, and started for the kitchen.“Where the hell do you think you’re going?” he asked, still standing in the foyer, watching my every move.“If I don’t say hi to Mom and Bridge, they’ll think something’s up,” I told him and continued on.He didn’t respond, but I felt his stare burning into the back of my head.

ABOUT CROSS COUNTRY CHRISTMAS:
With the holiday season upon her, Jamie Foster is once again stressed about making her yearly visit back home to Woodfalls, still single. Fate intervenes in the form of Grant Johnson, a boy she grew up with, who catches the same flight while returning home from a business trip.
When a malfunction sends their plane crashing down on the runway upon takeoff, Jamie and Grant decide to rent a car and make the nine-hundred-mile drive home together. Ironically for them, anything that can go wrong does as they face one hysterical hurdle after another.
Christmas may finally bring Jamie the gift of love she has always wanted if she and Grant can manage to overcome a few obstacles along the way. Ho-ho-ho!

What did I think?
I thought this was so freaking adorable! I always love the kind of books where the two main characters have grown up together. Those are my favorite types actually.

I've always been a fan of Tiffany King. She really has a way with words and knows how to tear out your heart or to warm it up.

If you're looking for a quick, warm, fuzzy-feeling type of read, this novella is it! This one is so perfect for the upcoming season. Full of that warm goodness that is the essence of Christmas in my opinion.

Jamie was an adorable character and one I can relate to in some ways. She left her small town to look for her soulmate all the while making a name for herself with her food blog. She knows there is someone out there for her and she wants to have that forever kind of love. It's so innocent and sweet. I loved her.

Grant was hotness in form I swear. I'm a sucker for dark hair and blue eyes. I don't know what it is about that but man oh man does Tiffany work it well. Not only that but he just is adorable anyways.

I truly enjoyed this novella and will be scooping it up on the release day. I loved the cute story and can't wait to see more from Tiffany. She's a talented storyteller. This is certainly going to be a hoilday favorite for me!
